Working my way back to Stefan's in Heidelberg, I stop first in Munich for the BMW museum.  Actually, there are two BMW facilities:  BMW Welt (BMW World) and the BMW Museum, which covers the cars and motorcycles, with a special 100 year anniversary motorcycle exhibit.

BMW Welt, as you might expect, is "all things BMW" and focuses on the current and future models, with a smattering of the history.  Nevertheless, it is an impressive presentation in an architecturally interesting facility.

The future is now...

They were setting up for some kind of event and testing the sound system...excellent choice!  😎

The Motos are upstairs and have their own cafe.

Had lunch there later, not bad!  BTW, I was able to walk from my hotel, a nice 1.5 mile stroll through the Olympic Park.  Walking has compensatory benefits...there will be wine!

Stroll over the bridge to the Museum, which is the bowl-like structure on the right.  Inside, it is arranged in a spiral.

I'm going to do a bit of a photo dump here...lots of cars, race cars, concept cars, historical cars AND the 100 year Moto Anniversary exhibit.  Here goes:
