 Pitztal Perfection

Pitztal is one of those places that has the perfect combination:  incredible beauty in every direction; easy access to all that beauty with cable cars, a funicular and hiking paths; an uncrowded feel even in peak season; and Das Vier, a fantastic hotel with great food, wine and service, multiple saunas and pools, and a location steps away from everything.  It is a special place.

On the way from the Kristall in Leutasch, we drove up Timmelsjoch for lunch at the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum.

There are some tight, twisty, small roads connecting the Otztal and Pitztal valleys.

Krisanne heads right to the new pool at Das Vier.  😂

Many of the pools in the Alps are stainless steel; so pretty!

The next valley to the West takes you to the Kaunertal glacier, past the Gepatsch reservoir.
