CastleBrando and Passo San Boldo
A stop at CastleBrando for lunch...built in Roman times, now a four star hotel and restaurant. You take a funicular up.
After an excellent lunch, we head to Passo San Boldo. This is a crazy, crazy pass...DARK, narrow tunnels, with hairpins INSIDE the tunnels.
Your progress in controlled by lights and the honor system...perhaps better called MAD...mutually assured destruction...there is barely room for one vehicle in each tunnel.
No pictures inside the tunnels, Krisanne assures me her eyes were shut tight.
You pop out looking at the Dolomites...our next destination.
