Some Love for The Hammer
Some love for The Hammer
The GS is our travel bike, multi-day and multi-week 2-up trips its raison d'ĂȘtre. With my arthritic right hip, however, it didn't get a lot of use in 2016. But in November, I went "fully bionic" with a new right hip to match my left and, in the process, left the pain behind as well.
So in preparation for a 4 day Utah excursion in a couple of weeks, and our 3 week trip to Oregon and California later this year, The Hammer got a new Cee Bailey's shield. Test rode it 250 miles to lunch; significantly quieter with much less buffeting than stock.
Plus, I think it looks better. Less filling and tastes great too...
