The European Chronicles 2025.20 - The Turn, Munich & The V8 Hotel
Waaaaaah!! Waaaaaah!!
It happens every year, but that doesn't make it easier. The "turn for home," especially when it begins in Pitztal, is HARD! We don't want to leave. This is a magical place.
Mia's packed and rolled out of the garage.
I usually try to make the last few days on the way back to Stefan's weather dependent; I wanted to head back to Andermatt and do a few of the passes we didn't get to do at the beginning of the trip, but once again, big T-storms were forecasted for that area. Thunderstorms on the top of a high alpine pass are not fun...been there, done that.
Munich, however, looked to be in a somewhat dry zone, at least for the ride there and maybe one other day. I plot a route over the Hahntennjoch and avoiding all motorways...
Heading to the Hahntennjoch
Relive 'To Munich'
Maypoles are a thing. 😂

Our hotel, and Mia gets garage parking...by elevator. 😂. Ride in, ride out...
Exploring Munich
The next day was pretty wet, so we thought a hop on/hop off Big Bus Tour might be just the ticket to get oriented to the city.
Not just the fountain is wet...
Who knew this was even still a thing? 😂
Schloss Nymphenburg
BMW Welt and their HQ
BMW Welt...World...all things BMW, and now with many of the cars open!
Upstairs to Motorad
There's a restaurant up there...
All things Mini

It is the largest city park in the world, The English Garden
And it offers surfing!
Surfing the DianaBad Swell. (Paging Kevin; Kevin to the white courtesy phone 😂)
And there are many beer gardens. This one, however, is incorrectly named. It is supposed to say "The Herb & Claudia Beer Garden." Thanks for the recommendation!!!
To Stuttgart!
And the V8 Hotel
The lobby...😎
Celebrating marriage on the way there. 😂
Relive 'Have a V8'
