Nurse Bonnie

Nurse Bonnie

Eight weeks, exactly, since 9 screws and a plate fixed my broken left ankle and added to the hip hardware I was already carrying.  Metal detectors everywhere love me.

My physical therapist agreed that riding would be therapeutic for the ankle.  After all, moving it up and down, and in and out is the basic therapy.  Working that shift lever sounds perfect...the added benefit:  I won't have to see a mental health professional.

The Sunday plan:  up early, watch the Catalyuna Motogp race (shout out to Dovi and Ducati, two in a row!), then head out before it got (too) hot.  Down to Sonoita, Patagonia, the Elgin "loop" and home. A 150 mile ankle test.  Happy to report all systems go.

Yippie!

Always, always, always...

One of the best wineries in the Sonoita area...they make a fantastic Montepulciano

Just a distant memory...thanks to Nurse Bonnie...
