And a look back on Pandemic Year 2
Because...Arizona!
Mr. Happy Santa finds his tribe...
First, and most important, we've made it through Pandemic Year 2 (PY2) healthy. Fully vaxed and booster-ed. We've been lucky, careful too, but lucky.
Second, despite the virus, we've had a better year travel and fun-wise than I expected. Very grateful for that, and hope 2022 is even better with Krisanne being able to return to Lago di Como.
Having said that, as I type, the omicron variant is running rampant, now 75% of all new cases in the US and it took over in about 20 days since first detection. The EU is similar. The EU has also instituted a 9 month expiration on their Green Pass, so it looks like both of us will need (and WANT) another booster shot before we go next year. Not a problem, which arm would you like, let's go!
